St Vincent and the Grenadines resident killed in vehicular accident

Police have arrested the driver of one of the two vehicles involved in an accident that resulted in the death of a 30-year national from St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Police said that Desran Gould was among several people, who had been taken to hospital following the crash along the Dunn’s River main road in Ocho Rios, St Ann on the north coast of the island on Sunday.

The other injured passengers are said to be in stable.

Police said the crash involved two vehicles in which Gould was a passenger in one of them.

They said reports indicated that both vehicles were travelling towards Ocho Rios when one of the vehicles reportedly drove into the path of the other causing a collision and resulting in several people being injured.

The authorities sad that one of the drivers has  been arrested for causing death by dangerous driving.
