S Hotel gets top ranking from US newspaper
Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett says Montego Bay-based S Hotel's ranking as the number one all-inclusive Caribbean resort by USA TODAY's Readers' Choice Awards is another feather in the nation's cap.
" USA TODAY is one of the largest and most prestigious newspapers in the United States. If they say you are the real deal, then it simply means you are on top of your game. The Readers' Choice awards have been widely acclaimed and consistently select only the best in global tourism. [I] really want to big up the entire team at the S Hotel for this major accomplishment, which is another massive boost for Jamaica's tourism sector," Bartlett said.
He noted that the hotel was also ranked the number one resort in Central America and 16th globally on the Conde Nast 2023 Best Hotels in the World Readers' Choice Awards.
"This is huge and must be celebrated. This is a big win for the S Hotel and, by extension, Jamaica," he added.
The S Hotel is a Jamaican-owned, managed, and staffed resort on the famous Jimmy Cliff Boulevard, formerly the Hip Strip. Opened in 2019, the relative newcomer is the only luxury resort located on the famed Doctor's Cave Beach.
