The police yesterday arrested Corina Clark, the spouse of the man charged for the murder of paralegal Sandra Risden.

Clark was charged by detectives assigned to the St Andrew North Police for attempting to introduce contraband into lock-up.

It is alleged that during an inspection of food brought for murder accused, Ojo Russell, the police found contraband, which includes two cellular phones and a cigarette lighter. Clark, who is pregnant, visited the Constant Spring Police Station with her infant.

Her boyfriend, Russell, otherwise called 'Jerry Stunts', a mechanic from Woodpecker Avenue in Kingston 11, was arrested for the January 18 murder of 63-year-old Risden.

The police allege that the paralegal was driving along Washington Boulevard in St Andrew when Russell and another man drove up on a motorcycle and opened gunfire killing her.

Clark appeared on local television last week accusing the police of wrongfully arresting her spouse.
