Police seize firearm following robbery along Lady Musgrave Road

Cops from the St Andrew Central Police Division have launched an investigation following the seizure of an firearm along Lady Musgrave Road on Friday. 

The STAR understands that the firearm was discarded of by men who had carried out a robbery along the mentioned roadway.

Lawmen went to investigate the robbery about 4:00 a.m., when a pursuit developed. 

The chase was terminated after the robbers crashed their getaway vehicle into a concrete wall and ran, leaving behind the weapon which was recovered on the floor of the vehicle.
