St James man arrested, charged after pointing firearm at woman

Doran Chinnock a labourer from Salt Spring, St James was arrested and charged after he allegedly pointed a firearm at the woman during an argument in March. 

He has been charged with assault at common law, possession of prohibited weapon and using a firearm to commit a felony. 

According to the police, about 10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29, Chinnock and a woman were having an argument when he pulled a firearm from his waistband and pointed it at the woman.

He was subsequently arrested and charged following a report to the police.

His court date is being finalised.
