Candy Wow finds love again with Vybz Dann
Just weeks after announcing that she and her fiance Randy Coombs are no longer an item, entertainment personality Candy Wow has found love again, this time with her music engineer Norvell 'Vybz Dann' Aiken.
In addition to being love-smitten, the blushing Candy Wow, who is also adding new energy to her career as a recording artiste, has moved out of the ghetto and is now living in the hills of Papine, St Andrew.
"Mi ask God to take mi out of the ghetto," said Candy Wow, who said she was busily looking a place in the Half-Way Tree area. "About three weeks ago, mi deh inna Half-Way Tree and Vybz Dann just appear said, 'Candy Wow, put yuh number inna mi phone', and I did."
Less than a month ago, Candy Wow, whose given name is Kerisha Brandon, told THE STAR that she was "dun wid man".
However, in explaining her current situation, she said it was divine intervention that led her to a change of heart. Now, with a new wind under her wings, she has even returned to the recording studio and will be releasing a new song titled Never Real, a collaboration with DC Stubborn.
According to Candy Wow, she expects that the song, produced by Owner City Records and Aiken Don Production, will be a hit.
"Mi explain to Vybz Dann say mi love him fi who him is, and as long as him give mi him love, mi good," said Candy Wow.
"Mi explain to him say dis a mi dream, suh the day after mi meet him, mi come Papine and do the music and mi go home and come back; and from de so, mi can't left. Dat mean say summen is there. He said he knows he is being chastised by naysayers that he is only with the entertainer for clout, but said that is far from the truth.
"Mi never know it would a reach this far, but it done reach. She has a nice personality, and mi rate her personality. People a go talk weh dem want fi talk enuh, and mi can't stop that, but mi and Candy know what we know," said Vybz Dann.
