Roshawn Clarke advances to 400m hurdles, Hyde and James-King out

Roshawn Clarke will be Jamaica’s sole representative in the final of the men’s 400m hurdles at the Paris Games.

Clarke booked his spot as he grabbed the second and final automatic spot in semi-final three after crossing the line in 48.34.

Jaheel Hyde, who competed in semi-final one, finished seventh in 50.03.

Teammate Malik James-King, competing in semi-final two, also finished seventh in 48.85.

World record holder Karsten Warholm of Norway is the fastest qualifier as he won the first semi-final in 47.67.
