Ammunition found in bottle at premises in Lakes Pen

The St Catherine North police are probing a matter in which an assortment of ammunition was found in a bottle at a premises during an operation in Spanish Town.

Reports are that about 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, cops were conducting an operation in the vicinity of Banana Lane in Lakes Pen when the premises was searched.

The police say a brown bottle was found and it contained several rounds of ammunition.

No arrest was made.

Since then, the police have broadened their probe into the matter.
