Vybz Kartel has expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone who made his Freedom Street concert event possible, calling it "a true celebration of dancehall culture and Jamaican excellence".

"New Year's Eve was nothing short of legendary," Kartel shared in a press release. "Freedom Street wasn't just a concert--it was a movement, a celebration of resilience, artistry, and the unbreakable bond I share with my fans. To the people who filled the National Stadium and created a sea of unity and energy, I am humbled and honoured by your love."

Kartel heaped praises on the all-star line-up of artistes and selectors who ignited the stage before his performance.

"From the lyrical fire of Spice and Bounty Killer to the electric vibes of, Popcaan, Tommy Lee Sparta, Chronic Law, Shawn Storm, Jah Vinci, Sheba, Gaza Indu, Lisa Hyper, Skeng, Likkle Addi and Likkle Vybz and my international stars - Busta Rhymes and Shatta Wale--and all the other artistes who brought their A-game - we proved why Jamaica is the epicentre of global music," said Kartel

The 'World Boss' also celebrated the support of his brand Str8 Vybz Rum, which played a central role in amplifying the vibe of the night.

"With Str8 Vybz flowing throughout the National Stadium, it was pure energy and celebration. Big up to the fans who made every moment electric and unforgettable," Kartel said. He also gave immense thanks to Downsound Entertainment, whose vision and execution elevated the production to world-class status.

"Big up and nuff respect to Joe Bogdanovich [company CEO) and the entire Downsound team for believing in this historic moment and delivering a concert that felt like the Super Bowl of dancehall," Kartel added. He also thanked the many sponsors, stating "your support wasn't just financial--it was a stamp of approval for Jamaica's culture on the world stage. You've helped create a night that will echo through history".

Finally, Kartel extended gratitude to the media for their pivotal role in amplifying the energy of Freedom Street.

"To the media, thank you for telling the story and bringing the magic of this night to fans across the globe. Your partnership means everything."

Kartel ended with a promise, "This is just the beginning. The best of Vybz Kartel is yet to come."
