Trelawny operation launched to capture wanted men

A large scale operation was conducted today by the Trelawny police to capture wanted men across the parish.

These areas include Bounty Hall, Wakefield, Deeside, Dromiky and Bunkers Hill.

The mission is also to seize illegal guns in the area.

"The operation consist 100 men of police and soldiers. We are heavily involved in the use of technology, including drones," informed head of the Trelawny police Superintendent Winston Milton.

"We are looking for wanted men who have migrated into the areas and have illegal weapons on them. We are also looking for all kinds of persons who are producers of criminal activities, including scamming and robberies," Milton told The STAR.
