When Kevin Walker left his house in Vineyard Town early Saturday, his plans included visiting his parents in Allman Town, conducting business and returning home to his partner and infant.

But Walker has not returned home and his loved ones are seeking the public's assistance in locating the salesman and entrepreneur. He is of dark complexion, medium build and about 180 centimetres (six feet) tall. Upon seeing the news team yesterday, Walker's mother Indiana Edwards burst into tears. As she leaned on a wall and held on to her husband Roy Walker for support, the tears flowed. The past 72 hours have been agonising for the couple.

"Weh mi son deh? A mi son mi want. Lawd Jesus what is this? Mi son is a good man enuh. He was the president for the Allman Town Police Youth Club for so many years. I don't know what else to do or say, I just want back my son. If dem kill him, mi will bury him. Look how Kevin good to people Lawd Jesus," she said between tears.

Walker, who works at Digicel, is also the operator of a small car rental and loan company. Edwards said she last saw her son minutes after 8 a.m. when he came to visit her and his father.

"Saturday morning him come and get the car wash to rent it out. After that him come and tell mi say the guy come for the car and him gonna leave and do some business. Him tell mi say mi will see him Sunday morning. Mi frighten Saturday evening when mi come from market mi get a call from him babymother say no one can get him on his phone. From that till now, no Kevin," she said.

As he fought to hold back the tears, the senior Walker banged his hand on a wall in frustration. He described his 43- year-old son as being mannered and one who was not involved in any wrongdoing.

"Mi left mi son Saturday morning a talk to him mada. Not because mi a him father but mi a tell yuh say Kevin nuh give trouble with badness or anything else. Mi nuh sleep no time from it happen enuh and mi no eat either. Mi a wonder if dem hold him fi a ransom or something but mi want back mi son," he said.

Walker's loved ones said his grey Subaru motor car is missing while adding that close to a million dollars went missing from one of his accounts on Saturday. Walker's best friend was also visibly shaken up and reiterated that he was not one to abandon his family.

"Mi see him Saturday morning and him tell mi say him want mi to collect one of his rental the following day because the person had extend it. Him tell mi say him ago pick mi up later fi mi pick up a next car for him and we ago chill out in the evening. When evening come all mi a call Kevin mi nah get him.
