Argument ends in stabbing death of Westmoreland man

Thirty-one-year-old Sadesie Johnson, otherwise called 'TJ' of White Hall, Negril, Westmoreland, has been charged on Wednesday with the murder of a man in the parish.

Dead is 25-year-old Dorrel Thomas, a bartender of White Hall Avenue, in the parish.

Reports from the police are that at about 12:50 a.m. on Saturday, Thomas and Johnson were at an establishment when a dispute developed between the two.

During the altercation, Johnson used a knife to stab Thomas to the right side of his chest.

Thomas collapsed and fell to the ground.

A team of police in the area quickly responded and apprehended Johnson, who was armed with a kitchen knife with what appeared to be blood stain.

Thomas was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injury whilst undergoing treatment and Johnson was taken into custody.

His court date is being finalised.
