St Catherine policeman electrocuted
The loss of a policeman who was fatally electrocuted while cutting a tree in St Catherine has sent the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JFC) into mourning.
He is Sergeant William Wallace, who was assigned to the Protective Services Division of the JCF.
It is reported that about 6:10 p.m on Sunday, the deceased, who resided in Eltham Acres, was cutting branches from a tree when the hand holding the machete made contact with a high tension wire and he was electrocuted.
He was pronounced dead at the Spanish Town Hospital.
