Man dead in alleged police shooting in Cassia Park, St Andrew

An alleged police shooting has left a man dead in Cassia Park, St Andrew on Tuesday.

The deceased was fatally shot in an alleged confrontation with police along Reece Road.

His identity has been revealed as Robin St Aubin Buchanan.

The area has been cordoned off by the police as investigators probe the incident.

The fatal shooting is also being probed by the Independent Commission of Investigations.

Up to March 25, there have been 78 fatal police shootings.
