Man fatally shot while leaving police station after granted bail
An investigation has been launched by the Portland police after a man was gunned downed after leaving a police station where he was granted bail.
It is reported that on Monday evening the deceased was pounced upon after exiting the Buff Bay Police Station.
Several loud explosions were heard in the direction of the Buff Bay Primary School.
Cops reportedly ran from the nearby station, some meters away, in the direction of the noise.
Upon their arrival, the man was seen suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds to head.
He was later pronounced dead by a doctor.
Six people have been murdered in the Portland Police Division since the start of the year.
