53-y-o man hospitalised after robbery attempt in Portmore

A 53-year-old construction worker was shot and injured during a robbery attempt of his car in Portmore on Wednesday.

Report says that about 2:10 a.m., the man was on Casinor Lane when he was pounced upon by two hoodlums who attempted to rob him.

He was shot and injured in the process.

The injured man was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital for treatment.

An investigation is being undertaken by the Portmore police.
