Scrapped stolen vehicles recovered in Mountain View

The Kingston Eastern police have discovered five scrapped motor vehicles suspected of being stolen in a section of Burger Gully, Mountain View, Kingston 3, on Tuesday.

Reports from the Elletson Road Police are that at about 1:00 p.m., lawmen were in the area when the discovery was made.

During the operation, the team went to a section of the community and searched an unoccupied premises; where the scrapped motor vehicles were seen during the search.

Based on this discovery, the police theorised that these motor vehicles had been stolen elsewhere and were brought to this location to be scrapped.

The Elletson Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) is imploring persons who have lost vehicles fitting these descriptions to contact them at 876-928-4200, the 119 Police Emergency number or the nearest police station.
