Woman gets fired then allegedly beaten by former boss' grandson

A woman was left severely beaten by her former boss' grandson just after getting into an altercation at work that ended with her getting fired.

The Portmore police say that between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on March 28, the victim was at work in Portmore when an altercation developed between her and her boss, which caused her to be fired.

The woman left the location, and whilst walking, she was approached by Tijaunie Rhoden, the grandson of her boss.

Rhoden allegedly uttered threatening words to her.

She tried to avoid him by walking away.

The 30-year-old followed her and reportedly hit her on several occasions all over her body, causing swelling, bruises, and pain.

He was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.

Rhoden was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
