Gunmen dressed as police shoot woman and child

The St Catherine police are searching for the assailants who while disguised as police, shot a woman and child during a home invasion in Old Harbour.

The victims were reportedly at home in Marley Mount in Old Harbour about 4:40 a.m. this morning, when a group of armed men entered the premises and fired shots, hitting them both.

The victims were assisted to hospital where they were admitted.

The Old Harbour Criminal Investigations Branch has launched a probe into the matter.
