Hanover man facing wounding charges
Detectives assigned to the St James Police Division have charged 29-year-old Chevauhn Sterling, otherwise called 'Chev', a call centre agent of Haughton Groove, Ramble, Hanover, with wounding with intent following an incident on Fish Lane, Montego Bay, on March 28.
Reports from the Barnett Street police are that at 5 a.m., Sterling was at his companion's house. Both were engaged in sexual interaction when Sterling and the woman had a disagreement, which led to an altercation. It is alleged that Sterling used a knife to inflict stab wounds on the woman, who ran from the house. A report was made to the police and an investigation was launched.
During the investigation, Sterling was arrested and subsequently charged after he was interviewed by the detectives. His court date has not been finalised.
