Police arrest three men while on patrol in St Ann

Three men are in custody of the St Ann police for their alleged connection to a firearm that was seized in the parish on Monday.

Reports are that about 9:35 p.m., while patrolling the Box Street community a loud explosion was heard.

Whilst on the way to investigate, the men were seen on the roadway acting suspiciously.

The men were accosted and searched. During the search, the firearm was found.

The men were taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
