Driver arrested in Duhaney Park, firearm and ammunition seized

The Duhaney Park police in St Andrew have taken a man into custody after a firearm and ammunition were discovered in his motor vehicle during a search on Mandela Highway on Tuesday.

Reports are that about 11:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Tankwell, lawmen in the area stopped and searched the man's vehicle and the find was made.

One man was taken into custody in relation to the seizure.

Investigation continues.
