55-y-o man dies while picking mango

The police are investigating the electrocution death of 55-year-old electrician Linton Cowan, who died while picking mangoes in Admiral Town in Kingston on Saturday.

Cowan is of Rousseau Road, Kingston 5.

Reports are that about 10:10 a.m. Saturday, Cowan was picking the fruits with an iron pipe which got entangled with a high tension wire.

The injured man was taken to the Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
