Manchester labourer attacks man with knife, gets fatally stabbed

The Manchester police is probing the murder of Omar Stewart otherwise called 'Brando' in the parish on Thursday.

Twenty-nine-year-old Stewart was a labourer of Good Intent, Mile Gully in the parish.

Reports are that about 1:20 a.m, Stewart armed himself with a knife and proceeded to Cottage, Whitby district in the parish where he attacked the 28-year-old suspect.

A tussle was said to have ensued between them and Stewart was disarmed and stabbed by the suspect.

He was assisted to the Mandeville Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Mandeville Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
