Teen turns himself in for allegedly robbing business at gunpoint
Nineteen-year-old Alshane Thomas, otherwise called 'Junior' has been slapped with charges of robbery with aggravation and possession of prohibited weapon following an alleged robbery of a business establishment in Manchester in April.
Reports from the police are that about 3:19 p.m. on April 16, Thomas entered a business establishment, removed a handgun from his waistband, pointed it at the occupants and demanded money, according to reports.
A total of $52,000 was reportedly handed over to him.
He then made his escape on foot in the area.
On Monday, May 12, Thomas turned himself in to the police and was subsequently charged.
He is set to appear before the Manchester Parish Court on Wednesday, May 21, to answer the charges laid against him.
