A St Andrew woman has been arrested following an alleged acid attack that killed her boyfriend and left his son hospitalised.

Dead is 40-year-old sales representative, Christopher Clarke, while his son is nursing burns to his face, left eye, and chest.

According to the police reports, the father and son were at their home on Verbena Avenue, which is located off Waltham Park Road, on Tuesday, June 10, when the woman reportedly entered the dwelling and took a bottle containing corrosive substances and poured it over their bodies.

The woman and the deceased reportedly had a dispute earlier.

The father succumbed to his injuries the following day.
