Body of labourer discovered with gunshot wounds in Portmore
The Portmore police in St Catherine have launched an investigation into the death of a man whose body was discovered in the parish yesterday.
Dead is Renaldo Coates, 30, a labourer of Clifton in Greater Portmore in the parish.
Reports are that about 7:15 a.m., passersby stumbled upon Coates' body at Ham Stables Farm.
The police were summoned and the body was found in a pool of blood with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
He was later pronounced dead at the Spanish Town Public Hospital.
The Portmore Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
