Chef ‘Fast Car’ charged after allegedly threatening to kill man during dispute

A 23-year-old chef from Westmoreland, known as 'Fast Car', has been charged after he allegedly pointed a gun at a man during a heated altercation on Saturday, June 28.

Niokaye Nelson, of Bastard Cedar Walk in Petersfield, has been charged with assault at common law and using a firearm to commit a felony.

Reports from the Whithorn Police indicate that around midday, Nelson and a man with whom he has an ongoing dispute got into a confrontation. During the altercation, Nelson reportedly drew a firearm and threatened to kill the man.

Following a police report, Nelson was apprehended during an operation and subsequently charged.

His court date is currently being arranged.
