Woman gunned down in her St Ann home

The St Ann police are investigating the murder of a 23-year-old woman at her home in the parish yesterday.

She is Sharon Barrett-Boswell, a higgler of Broad Street, Claremont, St Ann.

Reports are that about 2:50 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, 2025, Barrett-Boswell was at home when she was pounced upon by unknown assailant(s) and shot.

She was assisted to the St Ann's Bay Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No motive has been established in Barrett-Boswell's murder.

The Moneague Criminal Investigation Branch is conducting a probe into the matter.
