Suspected remains found after St Andrew house fire

The St Andrew Central police are investigating after suspected human remains believed to be those of 89-year-old farmer Audley Abraham were discovered among the rubble of his home, which was destroyed by fire last night in Dallas Castle, Papine, St Andrew.

Reports are that about 11:40 p.m. on August 4, 2025, a fire of unknown origin engulfed the house. Firefighters responded, and during cooling-down operations, the remains were found among the debris.

The scene was processed, and the remains were removed for a post-mortem examination.

The Papine police are continuing their investigations into the incident.
