Man hospitalised following machete attack, tattoo artist charged
A Thursday morning in Greenvale, Mandeville, turned violent when police say a tattoo artist attacked a man with a machete, leaving him hospitalised.
The accused, 30-year-old Brandon Grant, otherwise called 'Dangles', a tattoo artist and painter of Greenvale, has been charged with wounding with intent following the August 7 incident.
According to the Mandeville police, around 7:00 a.m., Grant allegedly attacked a man with a machete, inflicting wounds to his head, neck, and arm. The injured man managed to escape and was assisted to hospital, where he was admitted in serious but stable condition.
A police report was later made, and Grant was arrested and charged. He is scheduled to appear before the Manchester Parish Court on Wednesday, August 13.
