Man arrested for allegedly shooting at teens

Twenty-two-year-old Keanu Jballie, otherwise called 'Biggs', of Anderson Road, Kingston 5, has been charged with two counts of shooting with intent, conspiracy and using a firearm to commit a felony following an incident in his community on August 9.

Reports from the Half-Way Tree Criminal Investigations Branch are that at 1:30 p.m., two teenagers were walking along the roadway when they were pounced upon by Jballie and an accomplice, who were both armed. The teenagers, upon reaching the vicinity of their home, were shot at by Jballie. They fled to safety and subsequently notified the police.

Jballie was arrested and subsequently charged following a question-and-answer session in the presence of his attorney.

His court date is being finalised.
