Despite a poor start to this year's campaign Red Stripe Premier League outfit Montego Bay United (MBU), which seem to have turned things around at the business end of the season, are optimistic about their chance of capturing their third title this year.

Captain of MBU Dwayne Ambusley, who believes the only team that can really pose a threat come the playoffs is Portmore United, told STAR Sports that despite not having a deep squad, they stand a good chance of winning the league given their experience.

"If you look at the squad, we have in terms of our starting 11 with the exception of maybe a (Nicholas) Stewart, all the players have won the league before, if my memory serves me right. Not many teams in the league can say that presently so based on that I think we have a good chance as any," said veteran Ambusley, who believes the coaching ability of recently returning technical director Timothy Hankinson is the x-factor they have to win the league.

It is said that if MBU should take the title this season, their top marksman Dino Williams, who has been playing with a long-standing groin injury and is due for surgery, will have to carry on his recent form all the way.

Dino Williams, who is targeting anywhere above 10 goals in the regular season said he has no doubt in their offensive system under Hankinson.

"I don't really give myself any target so far this season because you know I'm not at one hundred percent. For this round I want to finish with over 10 goals and see how much more I need to push on in the playoffs," said Williams, who is confident about MBU making it to the playoffs.
