Last year's champions Harbour View will begin their defence of the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) Under-15 title today when they play away to Central Kingston at Emmet Park.

Lamar Morgan, coach of Harbour View, said they are looking to get off to a positive start.

"We are fully prepared because we have been in training since April, and we are also just back from a tournament in the Cayman Islands where we finished fourth and so, we are ready for this competition," said Morgan.

Morgan added that all the teams in this year's competition are going to be difficult to beat, but he is optimistic that they can retain their title.

"We have a good group, and we are the defending champions. We are expected to defend the title this year, but I know that it is not going to be easy, but we are prepared for the challenge," Morgan said.

Keeble Allen, president of Central Kingston football club, said he expects a good game from Harbour View.

"Our preparations have gone well because we have done a lot of work ahead of this game, and everybody is looking forward to the match," Allen said.

Meanwhile, in the day's other games, Mountain View will face Browns Town at Mountain View, New Kingston will oppose Tivoli Gardens at Barbican field, and Bull Bay entertain Rockfort at Bull Pen. All games are set to start at 4:40 p.m.
