Frome Technical High School coach Aaron Lawrence said despite suffering a 3-0 away defeat to rivals Rusea's High School two weeks ago, this afternoon's return fixture at the Frome Sports Complex is 'a different kettle of fish'.

Frome, who sit second with 16 points, are well aware that Green Island, who trail by six points, could pick up a win today against Hopewell, and keep their hopes of advancing to the next round alive. Rusea's have already qualified for the second round.

Lawrence, who was the coach of Rusea's two seasons ago, is aware of the rivalry this game brings, however, he said there is no added pressure on Frome.

"Tomorrow, we just have to go out and execute. We saw how the Rusea's team play in our previous game where the referee took the game away from us by issuing two red cards to us. When you play nine against 11, it is something different and yet still, we created chances to score," said Lawrence.

"I think that we have a quality team that can get the job done. All the boys from Rusea's and Frome strive to play against each other. I know it's going to be a tough battle, not an easy game, but we will come out at the end with the desired result," he added.

"There is no pressure on the young men, no pressure on myself and certainly no pressure on the school. We just have to go out and execute, and I have no doubt that these boys will execute tomorrow against the defending champions.

"If we can't beat Rusea's today, we can't win a championship, because you have to beat the champions to win the championship. Playing at home will be a different ball game, a different kettle of fish," said Lawrence.

The game will kick off at 3:30 pm.
