Two-time Olympic gold Medallist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will look to shake off her disappointing performance at the Prefontaine Classic last Sunday as she leads the Jamaican contingent competing at the eighth Diamond League meeting of the season in Lausanne, Switzerland, today.

Pryce, who shares the national record at 10.70 seconds along with Elaine Thompson, finished eighth in women's 100 metre as Ivorian Marie-Josee Ta Lou won in a time of 11.02 seconds.

She returns to a field which is stacked with championship pedigree including Ta Lou, two-time world 200m champion Dafne Schippers, triple European champion Dina Asher Smith and Swiss record holder Mujinga Kambunji.

National champion Shericka Jackson and Stephenie Ann McPherson will battle in the 400m in a field led by Bahrain's Salwa Eid Naser, the number 1 ranked 400m female runner in the world according to the IAAF rankings.

Commonwealth Games champion Ronald Levy, who is the reigning national champion, will also be in action in the men's 110m hurdles. He should be pressed by Olympic silver medallist Orlando Ortega of Spain, World Indoor Champion Andrew Pozzi from Great Britian, the new Asian Champion Xie Wenjun of China and the 2018 European Champion Pascal Martinot Lagarde.

New national champion Tajay Gayle looks to build from his Diamond League win in Shanghai. But he will have to overcome Cuban prodigy Juan Miguel Echevarria who is ranked 3rd in the world.

Daniel Thomas-Dodd and Janieve Russell complete the field of Jamaican athletes who will compete in the women's shot put and the 400m hurdles, respectively.
