JADCO v Briana Williams preliminary hearing set for tomorrow

The Independent Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel (IADP) will convene an in camera (private) preliminary hearing between Briana Williams and the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) regarding the sprinter's adverse analytical finding. The hearing takes place at 10 a.m. at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel tomorrow.

Williams was alleged to have returned a positive test for the banned substance Hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ), however she pleads no wrong-doing in the matter.

She will be represented by Dr Emir Crowne while will turn to Ian Wilkinson QC in the matter.

The IADP is chaired by Kent Gammon, who is expected to give statements after tomorrow's hearing.
