JC back on track after lightning incident
A fter their lightning affected match on Monday, Jamaica College showed no signs of lingering effects as they strolled to an 8-0 hamming of Innswood High in their Group E game in the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup yesterday.
The win keeps the many time champions unbeaten at the top of the group with 12 points and a massive plus-27 goal difference.
Monday's feature clash with Wolmer's Boys School at Stadium East was stopped in the 84 minute with 'Dark Blues' down 2-1 when lightning struck five players. One of the students was admitted to hospital and released on Tuesday, while the other is recovering and is expected to be released soon. The match will conclude at a later date designated by ISSA.
