Jamaican international Khadija Shaw is enjoying a brilliant run so far in her first season with French club FC Girondins de Bordeaux.

The 22-year-old netted her fourth goal in three games in Bordeaux's 3-0 win over Paris FC in their Division 1 Feminine game at the Stade Robert Bobin on Saturday. She opened the scoring in the 34th minute with a brilliant header after a great cross by Delphine Chatelin, before setting up the second goal four minutes from half-time, putting through Viviane Asseyi before she calmly slotted home into the far right corner.

Bordeaux made the points safe in the 73rd minute as Paris FC defender Marith Priessen turned the ball into her own net.

It was their third straight win of the season and it was the first time that the club has won three straight games since the opening three weeks of the season.

They have scored a total of 11 goals in that span and with Saturday's win, Bordeaux jumped to third place with 21 points in the table, four points behind Paris Saint Germain, who are on 25 points, and seven points behind leaders Olympique Lyonnais, the defending 13-time champions, on 28 points.

Shaw, the nation's all-time leading goalscorer with 40 goals, has been in a rich vein of form recently scoring a brace in Bordeaux's 4-0 win against Metz on November 16 and adding an insurance goal in their 4-1 victory against Soyaux.

She is now second in the goal-scoring charts with nine goals, two behind Lyon's Ada Hegerberg, the reigning Women's Ballon d'Or winner. In addition to her nine goals, she has also tallied three assists.

Bordeaux's next fixture will be a home game against eighth-place Stade de Reims at the Stade Sante Germaine on December 7.
