The West Indies Test team could have to go into isolation for at least 14 days if their tour of England is to go ahead.

The regional side was set to tour England next month, but it was pushed back to July because of the outbreak of the coronavirus and the consequent shutdown of cricket in England and Wales.

BBC Sport, yesterday, reported that the boys from the Caribbean may have to quarantine for 14 days at a lockdown venue in order for the series to go ahead.

The team could leave the region the middle of next month, with the first Test tentatively set for July 8.

It is reported that on Saturday the England and Wales Cricket Board said "positive" discussions had been held with Cricket West Indies over a revised schedule for the tour.

The teams are scheduled to play three Test matches, which will form a part of the inaugural 2019-2021 ICC World Test Championships.
