After one season in Iceland, national defender Dominique Bond-Flasza will be changing clubs for the third time in as many years.

Flasza, 25, will be playing for Finnish club Aland United for the 2022 season, leaving Icelandic outfit UMF Tindastoll after only one year. The move which was announced on December 23, will see Flasza join the team next month in preparation for the upcoming league season which is scheduled to begin in April 2022.

Flasza will be joining a team that finished third in last season's championship round, accumulating 44 points, 15 points adrift of reigning league champions Kuopion Palloseura. Aland are the reigning Finnish Women's Cup champions and Flasza could make her team debut on January 30 when Aland United begin the defence of that title against Pallokerho-35 Vantaa

In her only season in Iceland, Flasza made 18 appearances for Tindastoll in the country's top-flight but the team was not able to avoid relegation to Iceland's second tier, finishing ninth in the 10-team league. This will be Flasza's third club in three years having joined Polish outfit Medyk Konin in 2020 before her move to Iceland. Her career in Europe began in 2018, spending two years with Dutch club PSV.

Flasza has yet to be called up this year for international duty, missing out of all three friendlies the Reggae Girlz played this year against Nigeria, World champion the United States, and Costa Rica. Flasza's last international appearance was in 2020 against St Kitts and Nevis in their final group game of the Concacaf Olympic qualifiers.
