Best

Molynes United

Molynes United have found their feet in the second round of the regular season and have made vast improvements. They have now won three of their last five games, including last week's 2-1 win over Montego Bay United, and they are in ninth place with 14 points, six points off sixth-place Harbour View (20). A late chase for the play-offs is possible but their next three assignments will be tough as they face league leaders Dunbeholden, second-place Waterhouse and fourth-place Mount Pleasant.

Dunbeholden

The good news is that Dunbeholden have not shown signs of losing their advantage over the league, managing to accumulate four points in the last two weeks. However, the club missed a golden opportunity to go further ahead after losing a two-goal lead to Waterhouse in their 2-2 draw. Dunbeholden are on a seven-game unbeaten run and still have a two-point lead at the top of the table. But, to make the play-offs as the number one overall seed, the club cannot afford not to take advantage of such opportunities.

Waterhouse

Waterhouse prevailed in a five-goal thriller against defending champion Cavalier and then battled back from a two-goal deficit to snatch a point from Dunbeholden. The team avoided slipping behind in the race for first place in the league, and still kept within striking distance, only two points behind Dunbeholden. The Drewsland-based side just needs to ensure that they avoid any slip-ups against teams lower in the table, to continue to keep pace.

Worst

Montego Bay United (MBU)

When you haven't scored in seven out of your last eight games and all those eight games have ended in defeat, it is not surprising that MBU is suffering from a lack of confidence, in the words of its head coach Dwayne Ambusley. Since the departure of Ricky Hill as technical director, things have not gotten better as MBU has only scored once since the start of the second round, and has yet to win a game since January 31.

Tivoli Gardens

In the middle of a fight for the play-offs, Tivoli Gardens will now need a new head coach to get to the finish line this season after the departure of Philip Williams. While he has not stated his reasons for leaving, it does put technical direct Glendon 'Admiral' Bailey in a difficult spot, with eight games left in the regular season.

Harbour View

After a solid 3-0 over Mount Pleasant last week, Harbour View were up 3-0 over Tivoli Gardens (TG) at half-time and somehow managed to let that lead slip. It did not help matters that TG were reduced to 10 men because of a sending off. However, not being able to put away a team that was reeling has to be a concern for head coach Ludlow Bernard.
