Western Bureau:

After overcoming a viral illness which forced the postponement of Jamaica Football Federation Tier Two competition semi-final on Sunday, Treasure Beach are confident they can overturn a one-goal deficit from their first-leg encounter with Chapelton Maroons when they clash in the second leg today at Drax Hall in St Ann. Kick-off time is 3 p.m.

Kemar Ricketts, coach of Treasure Beach, told STAR Sports yesterday that he wished they had more time to prepare but last week's illness won't affect the team as their base-level fitness is good enough to get them through the 90 minutes.

"We are accustomed to playing two games each week, so we still have that fitness to last 90 minutes. The health of the boys was the concern we had and we have overcome that. We just have to approach the game mentally sharp," Ricketts said.

"It (illness) won't affect us, we are hungry for it. We want to have a Jamaica Premier League teams in the parish, so we will be giving it 100 per cent," he added

Ricketts said despite going into the game a goal down, after Chapelton won the first leg 2-1, he is confident they will overturn the result and end the 42-year wait for a St Elizabeth team in the Premier League.

"Yes, they will start with a one-goal advantage but it is highly unlikely that they will change their tactics," Ricketts said.

"In a game of 90 minutes where two good teams are playing, chances will be created. It's about who is more lethal on the day. We missed a lot of chances in the last game but I saw something special that was the turning point and will overturn the challenge of that one goal," he added.

Ahead of the first leg Chapelton's coach Lenworth Hyde said they wanted to start well and "get some goals". They achieved their objective and could add some steel to their defence today in a bid to hold on to their advantage.
