Thirteen-year-old Elizabeth Miller scored a first-half brace to give Royal Lakes a 2-1 win over Real MoBay, their first in the Jamaica Women's Premier League (JWPL), on Saturday and coach Kadish Fishley wants other players to take a page from the St Jago player's book.

"We shouldn't be relying on her because she is just 13 years old but she has shown that she is one of the better players on the team and some of the others need to step up and match her intensity and prove themselves like she has," Fishley told STAR Sports.

Miller fired the host in front after just four minutes and added another in the 19th, with Daniel Beckford pulling a goal back for Real MoBay before the break.

Nevertheless, Fishley was upset that Royal Lakes faded after scoring their second.

"It could have been better from my team. We started out very disciplined but when we went two goals up we lost our discipline and Real MoBay was able to get back into the game. So as much as we won, there are some things to work out," Fishley said.

"They (players) realise that we have to do better because a lot of the senior players were upset because of how the game went down and they know they need to step up, but it is a long season. Longer than any I have ever seen before, so we have a lot of time to get into the groove. We just need to continue building on these three points," she continued.

In the other Zone B game, Cavalier swapped Mile Gully 6-0, with Rena Gordon getting a double and Ramona Wallace, Tamara Osullivan, Susan Gregory and Kadian Edwards scoring one goal each.

Mile Gully remain winless after two starts.

In Zone A, Frasziers Whip scored the biggest win of the season, a 20-0 drubbing of Rangers FC. Davia Richards scored eight goals, Shaneel Buckley had five, Christiana Salmon four, Akelia Johnson and Omelia Grant one each and a Makida Ashley own goal.

Meanwhile, Carlletia Souizon grabbed a hat-trick as Olympic Gardens defeated Springers United 6-1. Stefanie Morgan, Hogena Brown and Ashlee Sawyers also scored for Olympic. Britney Gregory netted Springers' consolation goal.
