Jamaica's quartet of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Shericka Jackson, Natasha Morrison and Sashalee Forbes have booked their spot in the semi-finals of the women's 100 metres, at the ongoing World Athletics Championships, in Budapest, Hungary, today.

Jackson, competing in heat four, strolled to an 11.06 seconds clocking. Natasha Morrison, who was in heat five, also comfortably booked her spot as she stopped the clock at 11.02 seconds to finish second behind the United States of America's Sha'Carri Richardson.

In heat six, Sashalee Forbes finished second behind Ivorian Marie Josee Ta Lou in 11.12 seconds, while defending champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, competing in the final heat, cruised to 11.01.

Richardson is the fastest through to the semi-finals following her 10.92 clocking to win heat five.
