Jamaica College's Cavel Nooks will start as a favourite in the final of the Class Three boys' 800 metres as he won semi-final two to qualify as the fastest at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships today at the National Stadium.

Nooks the reigning 1,500 metres gold medallist, booked his spot in the final after clocking 2:02.65 minutes.

Securing a lane in the final also are Jamaica College's Camron Williams, Calabar High's Obrian Clarke, Sydney Pagon High's Luke Plummber, Titchfield High's Ratieo Walters, Excelsior High's Keneil Daniels and Denbigh High's Nathaniel Thomas.
