Jamaica College's Michael-Andre Edwards was in record-breaking shape in the final of the Class Two boys' triple jump at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls' Athletics Championships at the National Stadium tonight.

Edwards erased the previous mark of 15.51 metres, cutting the sand at 15.54 metres with his fourth attempt to secure the gold medal. Teammate Jaivar Cato with his best mark of 15.03 took the silver, while Kingston College's Amani Phillips won the bronze medal with 14.65 metres.
