Cavalier won 7-0.

Rudolph Speid, head coach of Cavalier Soccer Club, stated that the performance of his team on the night was 'pleasing' as they demolished Moca FC from the Dominican Republic 7-0 in the second leg of their Concacaf Caribbean Club championship football match at the National Stadium last night.

"It was very pleasing, we didn't expect to win by such a large margin. However, this is our third time playing them so they aren't strangers to us," he stated.

After playing out a goalless first-leg draw in Dominican Republic, Cavalier flew out of the blocks and opened their scoring in the second minute as Kaile Auvray outfox Moca's custodian Miguel Baez, by clipping his shot inside the near post. By the sixth minute Shaquille Stein made it 2-0 as he placed his header neatly inside the Moca FC net.

As they continued their wrecking performance, Christopher Ainsworth converted from the penalty spot in the 39th minute and Stein had his brace in first-half added time, as he found space inside the box and easily converted to make it 4-0.

A halftime brawl reduced the visitors to nine men, as two of the visiting team's players, Jesus Correa and goalkeeping captain Miguel Baez got into a fight with a policeman. Both were expelled from the game.

On the resumption, Cavalier continued to put them to the sword and Auvray in the 52nd minute, Stein in the 61st and Atkinson's panenka-styled penalty in the 79th meant that the reigning Jamaica Premier League champions will be playing their second consecutive Concacaf Caribbean championship final.

With the win, and by virtue of making the final, Cavalier also punched their ticket to the 2025 Champions Cup.

Cavalier will face the winner of the semi-final tie between Real Hope of Haiti and Cibao of the Dominican Republic.

The two play their second-leg games today with Cibao leading the tie 3-2.

Real hope were the home team, though the game was played at PUCMM stadium in Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic.

The second leg game is set for the same stadium at 7 p.m.
