Can't tell my mom I have an STI

Dear Pastor,

I am 17 years old. I am in my first relationship.

From last November, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and I caught an infection. Since then, I am so stressed because I can't tell my mother as she is strict on me. She may even disgrace me.

Without letting her know I went to see the doctor over and over and the medication didn't help, I feel so sad.

Sometimes I feel left out. Please pray for me.

I do understand the fear. This is not something that is pleasant. You have gone to the doctor, but your situation has not improved. Perhaps you need to see a gynaecologist.

The gentleman with whom you had sex should be willing to give you the money to see another doctor. It is indeed unfortunate that both of you had unprotected sex. Perhaps you are young and naive, but the

gentleman should have protected you because he could have got you

pregnant. So let him know what you are going through. You need his help and you need it now.
