Cheating husband treating me like garbage
Dear Pastor,
I am 50 years old and I am married to a man who is now 60. When I got married to him, I was 45 years old. He was a very loving man.
But since another woman came into his life, he has changed. He is always cursing me and telling me that he doesn't know why he is still with me. I am a Christian woman and it is only because I am true to my vows which say "For better, for worst" why I am still here.
This man has accused me of having other men with him; that is something I have never done. I left him for a month and he didn't stop calling me and begging me to return. But soon after I returned, he started abusing me again. We don't have children together, but I have two sons and he does not like them. One of them is a soldier. He told my husband that if he touches me again, the undertaker would come for his body. Sometimes when this man is angry, I get so scared. I either go to my sister's house or I lock myself in the guest bedroom.
His side chick gets all his money. When I asked him for money to pay the bills, he said that they can cut off the electricity and I don't have to cook for him. But I can't cook and not leave something for him. Every time I cook and I leave something for him, he eats his dinner and belches. I even have sex with him when he comes on the bed, but I turn my face away. I can't look at him, knowing that he is always cursing me. He told me that my vagina is too slack, but at the same time, he wants me to roll over when he touches me.
I BOUGHT EVERYTHING
I told my pastor that I am going to divorce him, but he told me to give him some more time and to pray. I don't have to live in his house. My parents' home just needs a little fixing up, and my boys say that I can live there. When I am leaving, I plan to take all the furniture from the house because they are all mine. When I came to live with him, I had to bring furniture, and I bought a stove and a refrigerator. All his money is going to this young girl. Pastor, what do you think about this man? Should I leave and divorce him? Please tell me what to do.
S.
Dear S.,
This man has said more than enough for you to leave him. He does not want you. He is not interested in the relationship anymore.
He has his other woman and he can go there whenever he wants, but he comes to you whenever he feels that he wants sex from you. It is amazing that he still eats from you. He is a very wicked man. You are a woman with a good heart. Although he does not support you, you still feed him. It is such a disgraceful thing for a man to talk to a woman in such a manner about her private parts. I would say to you, it is time for you to discuss this matter with an attorney. You cannot take any risks with this man. You never know what he will do to you while you are sleeping.
Pastor
